It's been two weeks and today we get to go pick up Daddy from the airport!! I think we've kept just busy enough that Daddy's absence didn't devastate Jake & Nick. They really didn't ask for him as much as I feared they would so I think they really understood Daddy went to Germany (Jake could tell you that Daddy went to Germany). We dropped Daddy at the airport two weeks ago and it was pretty smooth sailing.
We have a running discussion about what we have going on coming up. This weekend we really focused on Breakfast with Santa (I forgot my camera, so we're waiting on a very nice lady I'd never met to send our pics...here's hoping....) and picking up Daddy. We were discussing our week and every day I asked about, Nick would say "Pick uh Daddy!!!" No, Buddy, that's tomorrow! So, Jake would guess, "Go see Nana Pawpaw!!" Nope, that's Friday...
They are very excited to see everyone in the coming weekend and holiday season! We have some busy times ahead - which means, hopefully, some GREAT pics to share!
Right now, we need to focus on some laundry and clean up!!
