Cutting down the Christmas Tree

In a sequence remarkably similar to the Tree-Cutting Sequence from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, we set out to cut down Nana & Pawpaw’s Christmas Tree the day after we drove in. As luck would have it, it was snowing – and had been snowing. Jake had a blast – Nick lost his sense of humor until he met Lucky the dog (sorry, no pics). We found a beauty of a tree and the boys helped decorate it!
