We left Phoenix on Wednesday. I don't think the boys were ready for another long car trip and they had no concept, really, of what was going on. We tried to prep Jake with an itinerary Albuquerque ("Albecookie"), Oklahoma City ("Oak City") and on in to LIttle Rock.
We loaded the car (I'll upload a pic of that later...it's on the other camera), hit the gas station around the corner for gas and milk for Jake, drove a couple more blocks to hit Starbucks on the way to the highway. Nana & Pawpaw jumped out to get the coffees and Jake hollered "We're here, I want out". We've been laughing about that ever since. Cute kid...
We drove straight back in to winter and are missing our sunshine and warm weather. The trip was pretty uneventful. We had a pretty good time driving back and were pretty pleased with our hotels.
We had lunch with Matt as we returned to town on Friday and attended the circus today. The boys enjoyed it much more than I thought they would - and it held their attention for almost all of the time.
