Let the season begin

Today was the tree lighting here on post. Jake & Nick took abreviated naps and we headed out with our friends. We've had some crazy cold temps lately, so we had to do several layers. The boys are wearing long johns under these outfits - oh and their snow/winter boots to keep their toe toes warm.

We thought a seasonal shot by the tree would be cute - and it would have been extra cute if they would both look at the camera AND smile at the SAME time! :) Oh well...this way, you get several pics to look at.

The tree lighting was kind of a bust...even with mittens on, Nick's hands got so cold they hurt hime and we ended up coming back early. We'll see about trying again in town tomorrow depending on temps.

Next weekend, we're going to attempt breakfast with Santa. I hope that they enjoy it and don't freak out! We've been talking about it and watching various Christmas shows (Frosty & Rudolph) with Santa.
